School
Why Choose Us
Schools have been faced with issues associated with Internet access, high cost and low internet penetration in certain areas – especially rural areas. To solve this problem, we develop and deploy a home cloud solution that provides the full collection of digital resources from open source learning platforms like Khan Academy and other suitable open content for schools, in a mini-server that can be deployed to a school’s local area network so that students can access the resources without an Internet connection.
Features
- Front end unified search that is connected to multiple databases
- Unified search called discovery service
- Uses ILS: Allows for ease of registration online and comes with a backend dashboard that tracks data like registered users, pending users, and the total number of accessible books.
- Can be deployed as subscription-based access where users have to subscribe for a period to get access
- Uses Home Cloud: Access to open educational resources (OER), Video content platform and eBook management all privately hosted for the school.
- Diverse resources: Courses, eBooks, videos
- Customization is unique to every organization in such that it adopts its mode of operation or service delivery
Clients Served in the School Sector
Holy Child College Ikoyi
The Holy Child College e-library project was sponsored by Holy Child College UK Alumnae. The college needed an e-library that will provide quality resources for their Alma-Ata, hence, we deployed a Home Cloud system with the goal of students being able to access educational resources from multiple platforms within a unified search or discovery service. The library was deployed on the school server and is easily accessible with little or no internet access.
Estate Senior Grammar School Illupeju
