The Accident Investigation Bureau (AIB) is responsible for the investigation of aircraft accidents and incidents in Nigeria. AIB reports on and documents every of their investigations. In order to make good use of lessons contained in their Final Reports, all investigations carried out are broken down and further captured in their e-libraries for the benefit of aviation safety.

To make this process possible, our team was engaged to set up an Integrated Library System (ILS) which serves as a directory for the commission to capture their reports and access these reports and other e-resources during the course of their work. The e-library has so far helped the commission to improve the technical knowledge of their investigators and staff. Libtech also deployed an e-library antitheft solution to ensure optimum security of the commission’s resources.
